It was great to have my husband fish in the Warriors ON The Water, he really enjoys fishing and enjoyed the day. He is looking forward to doing it again next time as well. He was very proud to have gotten 2nd biggest fish prize that day...he has not yet received his prize money but when he does I am thinking of having it framed with his photo of him and his fish. I want to thank everyone that made this event possible. I am proud to serve my country and participate in such an event. I participated in last years tournament and I had so much fun that I volunteered my boat again this year. I like how the returning soldiers are thanked for a hard and nasty job well done. It means alot since I am a soldier as well. The boaters who are soldiers should receive some sort of recognition as well.

I want to thank you and all the members of WOW for the wonderful experience you afforded me. I have been involved in many charity events throughout my career but this one was the most rewarding for everyone involved. Meeting the service men and women who risk their lives to protect us and our way of life was truly special. I felt extremely fortunate to be a part of the event, to have the ability to give them something back and to have the opportunity to say thank you but it was so heartwarming to see happiness this day brought to our military heroes. Having been a part of the Vietnam era and its negativity, it is wonderful to see the positive message sent to our military personnel through events like WOW. All of you and all the sponsors should be extremely proud of what you bring to these service men and women. It is truly a great moment in all of our lives. Please sign me up for next years event. WOW is right! The coordination from your volunteers and organizers was nothing but phenomenal! To get that many boats in the water at the crack of dawn so smoothly was exceptional!! Henry had a great time and his co-angler did too, even though they couldn not get a bite. Going home, I was driving, both Henry and Turd were out like a light.. I was not sure which one I needed to hold a mirror under their nose to see if they were in fact still breathing! Thank you so much for allowing us to participate! Pencil us in for next year! Let me say that WOW was incredible! The organization and participation is to be admired. Your organization did a superb job. I can see that it will not be long before you guys start planning for a two-day event as I see this thing growing well beyond one day. Just once more I want to first thank you and all your committee people for the opportunity to participate in this most worth while cause.
